I'm back at work now, and though it bruises my ego that Emily can live without me, she seems to be doing fine at daycare. I am able to pump at work, so she is still on a breastmilk only diet and just keeps growing! Now I have to figure out what kind of a schedule I'll be able to work so I can take a couple mornings off for playgroups, or something. I enjoy my job, but it isn't nearly as fulfilling as spending time with Emily. We never tire of her cooing and babbling and love to see her toothless grin!
We had a wonderful time in Michigan and didn't want to come back (except that we missed Sean). Emily was wonderful on the plane both ways, and everywhere we went, people commented on how good she is (not to mention how cute she is!). Those who saw the original website also mentioned how much they enjoyed reading Katie's "minutes" from Emily's birth.
